Manchester and Birmingham look like they are selling really well, not a lot of seats left for these shows.

Got tickets for Nottingham. Taking two of my nephews who I would force to listen to Adam in the car. Fortunately, it's rubbed off on them. I got a box. Never had one before.

It would make sense to do a singles boxset around this tour. Before the general public become Ant'd out after several years of shows, etc.

I'm waiting for the tour of really obscure old stuff and the associated boxset of that.

    Me to.

But the purist may say he has already done them tours.

There's very little left to squeeze out now, both these boxsets and a few dvds of tours / live tv. Oh and reissuing Apollo - me hopes.

Am not sure how he's going to approach gigging the other later albums / material in them?

Rubber medusa was a Georgina Baillie track, it was recorded with the Pousez Posse and When i was a Sperm was recorded in late 2010, its completely ridiculous. Always remember a lot of unreleased Adam stuff is usually a bit naff. All those tracks like Yellowbeard, The horse you rode in on, Omelette from outer space, night they vietcong... there's a lot of throw away stuff there.

As for the singles box set, can anyone point me to where the rumours are coming from?

There isn't a boxset of singles coming out. It was talked about and discarded.

Omelette from outer space is excellent, and Night They Vietcong catchy. Yellowbeard is rubbish and the Horse You Rode In On I can't even remember!

I agree with the above. Omelette is a great song and an early quick recording of the superb song that ended up on the Kings LP, it's a great "work in progress" document as well as standing up on its own.
